THE BIG DAY
Howdy from Vegas,
Wow, what a day yesterday was here at the Interbike show. The booth was slammed all day long with gawkers. At times it was hard to even see the bikes. But when the hoards cleared, we were able to snap a few shots for you all to see.
MOUNTAIN
First, the all new Mojo Carbon. It’s a full carbon monocoque mountain bike with 5.5 inches of rear wheel travel, a DW Link rear suspension, with the frame and rear shock weighing in at 5.8 pounds. The built up bike with XTR components and Easton XC One wheels weighs in at 25 lbs. A spry little ride all day xc comfort cruiser.
Here’s a pic, there are a couple more on the main Ibis site (click on mountain at the top)

ROAD
The Silk Carbon is also a fully monocoque carbon frame, weighing in at 950 grams in a 58cm frame. That’s light for those of you not schooled in grams. I’m very happy to say that during the last 15 days, I was RIGOROUSLY

And here are a few more….Click on image for a larger view.

Some really nice stuff.. if you like carbon.
I like the solid look, clean lines and good quality links , those bikes will rock..
Personally I would prefer to see the Silk Ti made once again..how about that?

Welcome back Ibis. I was a custom steel cult member way back when you were around, and am now a DW link cult member. Your new FS Mojo is amazing. Love the orange BTW. 5.5″ at that weight is amazing. It is so hard to decide now between 3.5″ Azure or one of these. If you could only take my Hollowpoint and get it’s weight down I think you’d have the perfect aggressive XC bike.

Great new designs. I love the bikes and just mentioned them on my blog. It really is great that Ibis is back; makes me feel like I am back in college.

Lotsa folks sayin the carbon got no soul, but damn those bikes look SWEET! I know Chuck ain’t puitting no junk out on the trails.
You guys make the best bikes. Period. Another Period.
I’ve got 3 Ibises (Ibi) in the stable, and looks like I’ll be adding one more as soon as I can find someone to buy an arm or leg so I can afford it.
ps Ashwinearl, thanks for the endurolytes!
