FINALLY, an update
Howdy Y’all,
Man oh man I am a bad blogger. 6 weeks between posts. OK, maybe 7 weeks.
I’m working for the Tour of California this week, driving the ESPN crew around. You know, Bob Roll, doesn’t just spew those weird analogies (and whatever else you might call what comes out of his mout) for the camera. It’s as natural as breathing for him.
Look at Graham Watson’s photos on the VeloNews site for a couple nice shots of the coastal route they took Monday Feb 20th. GORGEOUS!
What a day. My neighbor and riding buddy Levi is going good so far.
I rode the route a week ago, on a similarly gorgeous day. It’s been a rough winter here in NorCal.
I have a delivery update for you on Mojo Carbon and Silk Carbon frames.
The first shipment of Silk Carbon frames will be delivered beginning in March. Not sure exactly when we’ll get them in, but all is looking good for a timely delivery. We have not yet allocated which shops get bikes first, but should know that in a couple of weeks. Bear with us in the mean time if you have a bike ordered. We should be able to fill all backorders on the Silk by June.
In April, Medium and Large Mojo Carbon frames will be shipped. Same allocation applies, not sure who gets them when. We’ll let the dealers know when to expect the first bikes.
The Small and Extra Large Mojo frames will be delivered in June. Wish it was sooner for you all.
Backorders on these bikes will be filled through the summer. Demand has been extremely high, so please accept our apologies that we can’t get them all to you right now. We’re working hard on it.
Got to get to the races, big day today.
Cheers,
Scot

And I have a Mojo Carbon on order in Toronto also… I’m losing my mind waiting for it. I second the hopes for a timely delivery.

I’ve got the parts already and the tools laid out. never been so ready for a build in my life. It will make a nice addition to the rest of my Ibis Ti stash and I’m sure get more miles and rides than my bow-ti and Ti-mojo combined! The silkie will be jealous.

My Silk has been ordered since Dec. and I can hardly wait. The Litespeed has been sold and my ’97 Hakkalugi is getting a workout as I prepare for a spring of carbon ecstacy. Like everyone else here, I’m thrilled that the Ibis gang is back doing what they do best. Consider me patiently waiting…..
