World’s Worst

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

I’m pretty sure I’m the world’s worst not-a-blogger. What has it been a month since there was a peep out of me? I suppose I could invoke that old bit of Mom’s wisdom, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Except that doesn’t really fit. It’s not that there’s nothing nice to say, it’s that things be busy. So this task takes a back seat.

Bikes are selling like hot cakes, which means that lead times are creeping upward. We’re still fine tuning the website. Adding things here and there, and working on some new sections. The e-com is running smooth. We’ve got a few new projects in the works too. Nothing to show this year, but maybe for next season if all the testing goes as planned.

Ok, back to taxes. Just wanted to say hey.

We found a few spare seconds to work on the website this week, so take a minute and check out the new stuff we have for you to see. First, we’ve finally updated the dw-link page. There’s also a great new Quicktime VR thing that’s a lot of fun to fiddle with. Finally, check out our Press Page for more love from the far corners of the earth (UK, Italy and Germany)…

I missed this one

Another great review on the Mojo, but this one was from December. I don’t think there’s a statute of limitations on good reviews, so here it is. There’s a lot of good stuff here, but the stand out line for me might be

“We’ve ridden a lot of bikes, and while most of them are really rather good these days it’s been a while since something actually blew us away. But that’s exactly what the Mojo did.”

Not so bad!

It’s not really new or noteworthy, but I sure am impressed with the skill levels of the flatland and trials guys today. Or whatever you call them. And all the other cool/weird stuff on youtube and others..

Here’s a brief compendium of some recent gems:

This guy is quite talented:

This one isn’t bike related, but reminds me of the opening of Casino Royale…

And the absurd, the narrator can’t keep from cracking up.

Ones that make me feel warm and fuzzy:

More subway goodness…I spend a fair amount of time on the NYC subways and the shows you get to see on there are incredible
