The Results Are In!!
People, you’ve outdone yourselves. Our humble little raffle is over and it’s a success beyond our wildest dreams. Here is the final tally from Elden “Fatty” Nelson.
1234 different people bought tickets, with total donations at $37,505.00.
We used www.random.org to select a winner: Matt from Seattle is a very lucky man. Late Friday he donated $100 to the LAF, getting him 20 tickets: #7223 – 7242, which includes #7232, the winning number. I’m guessing that’s the best $100 he’s ever donated.
So congratulations to Matt, but also to all of you who ponied up for a very worthy cause. It says a lot about all of you and we appreciate that.
We had hoped to raise $10,000 maybe. But early in the week it became evident that we’d go beyond that and maybe hit 20K. We had a late week surge and the number speaks for itself.
We’ll tell you a little more about Matt when we hear back from him.
As of Friday morning, the numbers looked like this:
Number of people who have donated so far: 1110
Amount raised so far: $33,845
Average donation amount: $30
Number of people who donated $5: 118
Number of people who donated $100 or more: 78
Number of people who donated $500: 1
More to come soon, but we just wanted to say a big hearty THANK YOU!

In a few years, I’m going to be looking for a new bike (already planning). Up until now, I had not even considered Ibis. Today I look at your company in a different light. I want to thank you for being self-less. Thank you for becoming involved, not just watching from the sidelines. Thank you for supporting Fatty and his family. A company with such leadership must be an awesome company indeed.

Chuck (we friends of Fatty are in informal lot),
Thanks. Seriously. I work at a shop that sells Ibis and echo Missippi Scott’s sentiments. It’s good to know that there are still good people out there in the building business. When customers are considering buying a machine of this caliber, they usually take their time. This will be a great story to relate while chatting.

This British Clydesdale wants to say thanks for supporting Fatty like this – what an incredibly generous thing to do.
