Yes, that’s a carbon fiber townie. And a BSNYC shirt. What can I say, I’m lucky.

Looks like pure hell – how do you stand it? Shorts and flip-flops in January – sweet. Meanwhile, I scrape wet toxic road grime from my Hakkalugi (old version) and Silk Carbon.

I have a Ibis “Spanky” road bicyle that a friend of mine wants to sell. It is too low (at the bars) for him to ride comfortably. I would like to know more about the bike and what is the “value”. It has Ultegra components, spd pedals, and is ~10 yrs old (his estimate as he bought it used). Also, I would like any further information I can get on the bicycle. I am looking at using it for 1) a road bike and 2) a sprint triathlon bike. I am a senior rider and do not race per se, but enjoy getting out with the younger crowd and participating, not racing.
thanks for any information you can give me on the bicycle.

Has your friend thought about raising the bars?
As for value, watch ebay and craigslist, they don’t come up often but that will give you a real good idea of value.
