Yep.

Ibis hearts Downieville. And we heart Ibis owners who race Downieville (July 10-12). And we heart Crank Brothers and apparently they heart us because they’ve promised us a set of their excellent new Cobalt Wheels (worth ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS) that we will GIVE AWAY to some lucky Ibis rider at Downieville. If you’re racing and if you’re on an Ibis, we’ll put you in the running for our give away.

Since the Downieville is about fun (at least during the time you’re not racing), we thought we’d try to make this give away fun. Sure, we could give the wheels away to the fastest Ibis rider, but that doesn’t feel weird enough. We’d rather reward some other sort of behavior. We just don’t know what behavior that is yet. But when we see it, we’ll know. Come by and see us. We’ll be right next to Chris King. Show us a bike with a number on it and tell us why you deserve a new set of wheels.
