World’s Coverage
Saturday night I watched the live Freecaster coverage of the World Downhill race down in Canberra Australia. I don’t really miss those days of waiting weeks to hear the results of bike races in faraway and nearaway lands.
They did have the world’s coverage start with Brian Lopes’ run, but an alert reader informed me that the video has been replaced by one of a run by some guy named Steve something. So oh well. No matter though, look what I found on pinkbike.com…go full screen fer sher…

How about a post with some details on Lopes’ World’s bike set up? Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink. Like what size/model tires, shock, fork, stem, gearing, shade of Eddy Orange paint, how many holes were drilled in his cranks? 3 or 4 rotor bolts this time?
You get the idea.

I think a green screen would have been cheaper and easier. Then could have used what ever background they wanted. Heck they could have been the first dirt jumpers on Mars or the Moon.
